Feeling responsible for all the bad things that are happening, and for Wally suffering inside the speed force, Barry decides to save him. Sisko vibrates Barry into the power of speed, where he encounters manifestations of friends and enemies who have previously sacrificed their lives. Less cooperative than before, they push Barry to understand the true victim and that he must be the one to save Iris in the future. Barry also confronts and defeats his former enemy, Hunter Zolomon. Jay Garrick, contacted by Cisco, joins Barry in the speed force and volunteers to take Wally's place so that Barry and Wally can escape. Meanwhile, Jesse uses a shard of armor to find Savitar and face him, managing to injure him with it before he escapes. Later, Jesse decides to go to Earth-3 to protect her until the team can free Jay from the speed force. Barry confesses to Iris that even though he really loves her, he proposed to her for the wrong reasons and suggests they spend some time apart from each other.
